This page explains what happens to the information you send through awec.co.za. It is written in plain terms and covers only what the site actually does.

What is collected

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your company or organisation, phone number and the location of your project. Nothing else is requested, and there is no account to create.

How it is used

The details you submit are used to respond to your enquiry and, if the work proceeds, to correspond with you about it. They are not sold, and they are not used for marketing lists or newsletters.

How the form works

The enquiry form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which receives the contents of your submission and forwards it by email to Andrew West Environmental Consultancy. Formspree therefore also handles your information as part of delivering that message, under its own terms and privacy policy. Correspondence that follows takes place by ordinary email.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to deal with the matter they relate to, and for the period afterwards that ordinary business and professional records require.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If aggregate visitor statistics are collected, they are collected in a form that does not identify individual visitors.

Your information

You can ask what information relating to you is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no longer a reason to keep it. South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) sets out rights of this kind, and requests are dealt with on that basis.
